Cardboard displays, Originally used as a temporary display, they are now found in supermarkets and retail establishments all over the world. Whether it’s for the launch of new products or holiday promotions, many brand manufacturers will use these cardboard displays to promote their goods, which can help them achieve comparatively high success. Let’s now give you an overview of the amazing cardboard displays’ manufacturing process! The process used to produce samples is typically different from that used to produce bulk.

POP Displays Sample Production

Designing cardboard displays is the first step. Our design team will create a template or die-line for our clients to use when creating printing artwork. This requires the designer to have good spatial thinking skills and be familiar with 3D structure work. The product weight on each shelf must be taken into account during the design phase in order to determine the paper display rack’s bearing capacity and space area and to suggest the right thickness material to our clients.

Typically, the cutting machine’s computer program receives the data from the designed structural drawing. In order to create a stunning 3D display with graphics, the cardboard display samples are first cut in a machine, and then they are assembled and glued together by the designer.

Corrugated Displays Mass Production Process

Step 1: Raw Material Preparing

Once our customers confirm the sample we make is okay and place the bulk order to us, then we arrange bulk production to our production department, then they will prepare the material based on the order details. Here is our raw material preparing part in our factory:

Step 2: Bulk Printing Process

After the raw materials are ready, our design department will typesetting for our production department to start bulk printing, here is our printing workshop.

As the sample printing machines are different from the bulk printing machines, so the color will be different as well. But when we send our customers the sample, we will prepare a digital printing proof at the same time, usually the bulk printing proof color will be 90% close to the digital printing proof color. If our customers require spot color printing, they will check the printing color strictly. Below is that our workers are in color inspection.

Step 3: Post-processing

After finishing printing, the next is laminating process(glossy or matte) to make the displays look more shiny or advanced. Usually most of our customers will choose glossy lamination, but if your artwork are black color, we will recommend matte lamination for you. This process is finished on our laminating machine below.

The next stage is mounting process, to make the printing paper and corrugated paper together, after mounting, then we should move forward to die-cutting process. All these process are finished on the machines.

Then our workers will start to glue the shelf to the body display together, and assemble displays.

Step 4: Quality Check Process

After finishing bulk production, we won’t pack the displays directly, we have a quality check department to check the goods, they will pick out the defective products, so that our customers can receive our products well.

Step 5: Custom Displays Packing

After checking the products are no problem, they will arrange to pack the displays and inform us to arrange the shipments. We have all different kinds of packing way based on our customers requirements, but usually our customers will choose pack the displays into cartons to protect the displays better during shipping.
